Wayfinder Version 1.5! End of Act 1!
Alright, it's here at last!
This is chapter 6, which is the end of act 1!
PLEASE RESTART YOUR SAVE UNLESS YOU PICKED ARKYN! There is an error in the code that causes any previous save to go to Arkyn in the new chapter, if you start over and skip to the decision it should work afterward.
I'm going to try to fix this and reupload, this notice will be removed if it works.
There is a scene in each route that is missing a CG, as I am going to have Tehngo fill it in when time allows.
The next chapter (the start of act 2) already has its CGs implemented, and I will share previews closer to when my hiatus ends.
The next public update will be in roughly two months, thinking early-to-mid-November.
(Patrons from last month are receiving their chapter within the week and another update later in the month if time allows. These will likely be rolled together into one update for the start of the next act's public release.)
Wayfinder has been on the backburner for me for a bit, with major changes at my job and so many other things.
I hope the end of this first act opens up questions and brings some excitement for the journey ahead! This story's just getting started and I'm happy you're here for it.

Good afternoon,
Firstly I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying your novel. The plot has me hooked, the characters are interesting and I can hardly wait for new content to be available.
I am trying to be a bit vague in order to avoid potential spoilers.
-semi vague spoilers ahead-
I think I must have done something wrong. At the end of day 6 I always wind up going to see Arkyn to “spend the night.” No matter whom I've spent “getting to know” with previously. I.E. Spent the afternoon with Geirolf still winds up with me heading to Arkyn’s house.
Am I “being the big dumb?” and this is working as intended? Or did I mess up somewhere?
Regardless, I eagerly await the next installment and thank you.

Hey, sorry! I thought I fixed this. It's because of the way I sorted the "jump to next scene" code.
I recommend saving at the start of chapters in case something like this happens because I've figured out if you reload from before you make the decision it lets you carry on as normal.
Unfortunately you might have to restart the story. I was trying to make saves compatible on new updates and ended up botching it >///< I'll try to upload a fix tonight!

Hey!
I'm glad it worked! I essentially put the 'jump to x character's next part' before the end of the chapter instead of after so if you saved after that spot but before the end chapter dialogue it defaulted to the first route in the list, which was Arkyn's.
When I get home from work I'll be adjusting it and testing it. For the future updates, just having a save at the start of each chapter might help expedite things if something like this happens again.
